Boram School of Nursing

Boram School of Nursing, now officially known as the East Sepik College of Nursing (ESCON), is a health training institution located in Wewak, East Sepik Province, Papua New Guinea. The college was re-established in 2019 to address the critical shortage of healthcare professionals in the region. It operates in collaboration with the East Sepik Provincial Health Authority and has historically been affiliated with Divine Word University's St. Benedict's Campus. The school provides theoretical and clinical training at the Boram General Hospital (East Sepik Provincial Specialist Hospital), focusing on producing registered nurses to serve the rural and urban communities of Papua New Guinea.
