No tuition fees for standard Bachelor's and Master's programs; students pay a semester contribution (Semesterbeitrag) each semester covering administration, Studierendenwerk, student self-administration, and the Deutschlandticket (nationwide public transport). The current semester contribution is approximately €36 for the Semesterbeitrag component; see the official website for the total amount.
