MidKent College is a publicly funded further education college with campuses in Gillingham (Medway) and Maidstone, Kent. For over 100 years it has provided high-quality technical training, apprenticeships and academic courses across a wide range of subject areas. Rated 'Good' by Ofsted in November 2018, the college is described as student-centred and serves over 6,000 students annually. It offers further education, A Levels, T Levels, access to higher education, university-level and professional courses, and apprenticeships. The Medway Campus and Maidstone Campus both feature specialist workshops and simulated work environments. University Centre Maidstone provides higher education and professional training.

Tuition is free for students aged 16-18 on full-time FE courses. Students aged 19+ are required to pay tuition fees unless eligible for a concession or government loan. The college does not hold a Tier 4 sponsor licence and cannot accept applications from students on a Tier 4 visa. Fees vary by course and are published per academic year.
