Università degli Studi del Sannio di Benevento

Università degli Studi del Sannio di Benevento (UniSannio) is a public research university established in 1998 and situated in the historic center of Benevento, in the Campania region of southern Italy. Recognized by EQAR (DEQARINST1392) and holding an Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (2021-2027), UniSannio participates actively in European and international academic networks.

The university is organized into three departments: the Department of Law, Economics, Management and Quantitative Methods (DEMM); the Department of Engineering (DING); and the Department of Sciences and Technologies (DST). Together, these departments offer a comprehensive range of programs spanning engineering (civil, energy, computer, electronic, biomedical), economics, business management, law, digital administration, statistics, biology, biotechnology, geology, geotechnology, sports sciences, and medicine.

UniSannio offers 12 active bachelor's degree programs, 10 active master's degree programs, 2 single-cycle degree programs (including Law and Medicine), 3 PhD programs, and postgraduate master courses. The university's urban campus is spread across several buildings in the Benevento city center, offering a range of academic and student services including housing, dining, a sports facility (PalaUNISANNIO), placement services, and an internationalization office.

International students are welcomed and supported through dedicated enrollment procedures, Erasmus+ mobility programs, and visa guidance. Italian language proficiency at B2 level is required for Italian-taught programs. The university is committed to research, sustainability, inclusion, and quality assurance.
