نظرة عامة

University College Dublin (UCD) is Ireland's largest and most international public research university, founded in 1854 by John Henry Newman. Situated on a 133-hectare parkland campus at Belfield, Dublin 4, UCD is ranked no. 100 in the QS World University Rankings 2027 and in the top 1% of higher education institutions worldwide. The university is organised into six colleges — Arts and Humanities, Business, Engineering and Architecture, Health and Agricultural Sciences, Science, and Social Sciences and Law — offering a broad range of undergraduate, graduate taught, and graduate research programmes. UCD hosts over 12,000 international students from 163 countries and delivers degrees to over 5,000 students on overseas campuses in China, Malaysia, Singapore and elsewhere. With over 1,700 academic staff and some 2,558 graduate researcher students, UCD is ranked #1 in Ireland for EU-funded research and for graduate employability by QS. The Belfield campus features modern libraries, a sports centre with an Olympic-sized swimming pool, on-campus residences, and over 150 clubs and societies.
