University of Agder

University of Agder (UiA) is a public Norwegian university established as a university in 2007, with campuses in Kristiansand and Grimstad in the Agder region of southern Norway. UiA has over 10,000 students in Kristiansand and over 3,000 in Grimstad. The university comprises seven faculties: the School of Business and Law (Handelshøyskolen ved UiA), Faculty of Health and Sport Sciences, Faculty of Humanities and Education, Faculty of Fine Arts, Faculty of Teacher Education, Faculty of Social Sciences, and Faculty of Engineering and Science. UiA offers more than 350 study programmes from bachelor to doctoral level, including numerous English-taught programmes for international students. Research is conducted across all faculties, and UiA operates multiple PhD programmes including in engineering and science, health and sport sciences, social sciences, humanities and education, fine arts, artistic research, and business and law.
