University of Ostrava

The University of Ostrava is a public research university located in Ostrava, Czech Republic. It holds the highest level of institutional accreditation in the Czech Republic, granted in September 2018 by the National Accreditation Bureau for Higher Education. The university offers bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programmes across six faculties: Medicine, Education, Fine Arts and Music, Social Studies, Science, and Arts. It is ranked among the top 30 research-intensive universities in New Europe and emphasises individual teacher-to-student approach, research-driven education, and a wide range of exchange programme opportunities.
