The University of Passau (Universität Passau) is a public research university in Passau, Bavaria, Germany. It comprises five faculties — Law; Social and Educational Sciences; Humanities and Cultural Studies; Business, Economics and Information Systems; and Computer Science and Mathematics — and offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral programmes. Internationality is a defining characteristic, with numerous English-taught master's programmes and extensive international partnerships.

As a Bavarian public university, the University of Passau charges no general tuition fees. Students pay a semester contribution (Semesterbeitrag) each semester. No institution-wide tuition fee is published on the official website.
