Baptist Theological Institute of Bucharest

The Baptist Theological Institute of Bucharest (ITBB) is a confessional higher education institution under the spiritual authority of the Baptist Union of Romania, whose mission is to prepare church servants in collaboration with local Baptist churches, based on the teaching of the Holy Scriptures, for the extension of the Kingdom of God. Over more than 100 years the Institute has had a strategic role in equipping spiritual servants. It offers bachelor programmes in Baptist Theology (full-time and distance learning), a master programme in Applied Theology (Youth and Family Ministry), and access to doctoral studies through the University of Bucharest. The Institute provides on-campus housing and meals, scholarships for all students, practical training placements in Romanian churches, an active Erasmus+ programme, and a theological research centre publishing the Jurnal Teologic.
