Overview
Beaux-Arts de Paris (École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts) is France's historic national higher school of fine arts, established in 1817 and placed under the supervision of the French Ministry of Culture. Located at 14 rue Bonaparte in central Paris with a second site in Saint-Ouen, the school offers studio-based education across 33 ateliers led by renowned artist-teachers. Its curriculum spans artistic practice, drawing, printmaking, fresco, mosaic, art history and theory, and languages, culminating in the nationally recognised DNSAP (Diplôme national supérieur d'arts plastiques, registered in RNCP). A founding member of the PSL (Paris Sciences et Lettres) university, the school hosts approximately 25% international students and offers a doctoral programme through the SACRe research unit. It holds Erasmus+ accreditation for 2021-2027.
