FHWien der WKW (Fachhochschule der Wirtschaftskammer Wien) is Austria's leading University of Applied Sciences for Management and Communication, founded in 1994. Located in Vienna at Währinger Gürtel 97 (18th district) on the wko campus wien, the institution serves approximately 2,917 students as of 2025 and has produced over 16,800 Bachelor, Master, and diploma graduates since its founding. Two-thirds of its 1,057 teaching staff come directly from industry, and the institution maintains 161 international university partnerships. Bachelor programs are offered in both full-time and part-time (berufsbegleitend) formats; all Master programs are offered exclusively part-time. Programs span management, communication, marketing & sales, finance & accounting, real estate, tourism & hospitality, human resources, digital business, journalism & media management, and entrepreneurship. A compulsory internship is required for all students. The primary language of instruction is German, with some programs available in English. The institution is connected via Vienna's U6 metro line and trams.
