Kolegji Heimerer

Kolegji Heimerer (Heimerer College) is a private higher education institution in Prishtina, Kosovo, founded in 2010. Described on its website as a 'German college in Kosovo for health sciences' (Kolegji gjerman në Kosovë për shkencat shëndetësore), the college prepares students for careers in health and social care through an internationally oriented curriculum. Bachelor programmes include Nursing (BSc), Psychology (BSc), Health Sciences – Diagnostic Profile: Laboratory Technician (BSc), and Health Sciences for Therapeutic Profiles – Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy. Master programmes include Digital Healthcare (MSc), Clinical Psychology (MSc), Medical Laboratory Science (MSc), Nursing – Advanced Nursing Practice (MSc), and Management in Health Institutions and Services (MSc). All nine programmes are individually accredited by EVALAG in cooperation with the Kosovo Accreditation Agency. The college received positive institutional accreditation (with conditions) valid until 30 September 2028. Kolegji Heimerer runs an International Career Programme (PIK) to support students pursuing nursing careers in Germany, and hosts an annual International Summer School. A Future Care Lab, mirroring a facility at Martin Luther University Halle, supports research in social assistive robotics. The college holds Erasmus+ Institution Code XK PRISTIN02.
