Sciences Po Lyon

Founded in 1948, Sciences Po Lyon (Institut d'Études Politiques de Lyon) is a public higher education institution specialising in social sciences and political studies. It trains approximately 2,000 students per year, including 300 international students, across two campuses in Lyon and Saint-Étienne. The five-year programme leads to a master-grade diploma and is structured around a three-year pluridisciplinary first cycle (law, economics, history, political science) and a two-year second cycle of specialisation in areas such as Public Affairs, International Affairs, Communication, Territories, and International Public Affairs. The institution also offers doctoral programmes in political science, continuous education, and preparation for French civil service exams.
