University of Bergamo

University of Bergamo (Università degli studi di Bergamo, UniBg) is a public research university founded in 1968 in Bergamo, Lombardy, Italy. It is recognised by ANVUR and listed on EQAR (DEQARINST1394). The university offers 55 bachelor's and master's degree programs across eight departments covering law, economics, business, engineering, humanities, languages, social sciences, and psychology. Eleven master's programs are taught entirely in English. Doctoral programs (third cycle) are also offered. The university has three campuses: the humanities campus, the economics-law campus (both in Bergamo), and the engineering campus in Dalmine (Bergamo province). Facilities include three libraries, cafeterias, study rooms, laboratories, and a CUS sports centre exceeding 13,000 m². According to the AlmaLaurea XXVIII Report, 84.1% of master's graduates find employment within one year and 95.8% within five years. UniBg participates in the BAUHAUS4EU European University Alliance (since 2024) and offers Erasmus+ mobility, double-degree agreements with 17 foreign universities, and other international programs. Merit-based and need-based financial support is available to students.
