Universitat d'Andorra

Universitat d'Andorra (UdA) is the sole public university of the Principality of Andorra. Higher education in Andorra began in 1988 with the founding of the Schools of Nursing and Computer Science; since 2004 the university has operated from a single urban campus at Plaça de la Germandat, 7, AD600 Sant Julià de Lòria. UdA's programmes are fully aligned with the European Higher Education Area (EHEA): bachelor's degrees (bàtxelors) of 180 ECTS, master's of 120 ECTS, and a doctoral programme. The primary language of instruction is Catalan, with some courses in Spanish and English. In 2024-2025 the university had 1,909 enrolled students, approximately 30% of whom are international. Graduate employment insertion stands at 94%. Programmes are quality-assured by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education in Andorra (AQUA) under the national obligatory EQA system, with EQAR recognition. UdA has agreements with around 50 universities worldwide and promotes bidirectional international mobility. It is a member of various international university networks including NUSCT.
